Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to keep big rigs on the road. In a fast-paced environment, you’ll troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems while delivering friendly service to drivers.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end, electrical, suspension, A/C, engine).
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Work in various temperatures.
• Safety and customer satisfaction are priorities.
• Rotating day/night schedule.
• DOT medical card eligibility (paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies and electrical systems.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Work in various temperatures.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per safety policies.
• Rotate between day and night shifts as needed.
• Possibility to obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
