Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Georgia is seeking Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance. The role involves working with customers and drivers, ensuring safety and high service standards in a fast-paced setting.

You will rotate between day and night shifts, and Love’s covers a DOT medical card. Join a team recognized for growth and a strong safety culture in a nationwide network.

• Able to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end, electrical, suspension, A/C, engine).
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Lift 75+ pounds and work in varied temperatures.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per policies.
• Work rotating day/night schedule.
• Obtain a medical card through DOT (paid by Love’s).

Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
