Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians in Fernley, NV. Join a fast-paced team, interact with drivers, and perform repair and maintenance on trucks and equipment while delivering great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and work in varying temperatures
• Adhere to safety policies and meet customer service standards
• Work a rotating schedule with day and night shifts as needed
• Possess the ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places with friendly faces. You will interact with customers & drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components


• Assist customers with roadside services


• Provide preventative maintenance services


• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.


• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.


• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.


• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
