Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring Diesel Technicians to join our fast-paced team. You will diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, service electrical systems, and perform preventative maintenance to keep drivers moving.

You’ll work a rotating day/night schedule, lift heavy objects, and adhere to safety policies. We provide tuition assistance, PTO, flexible scheduling, 401(k) match, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end, electrical, suspension, A/C, or engine components).
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Work in various temperatures.
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction per safety policies.
• Rotate between day and night shifts.
• Can obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
