Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Diesel Technician in Ohio to diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems, perform preventative maintenance, and assist customers with roadside services. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety, customer service, and quality workmanship, interacting with drivers from across the region.

This role offers company-paid tuition assistance, PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance after 30 days, a 401(k) with full match up to 5%, and

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Always prioritize customer safety and satisfaction while following company policies.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Operate in close quarters and comply with safety standards.
