Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Missouri is seeking Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You will handle wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C or engine components, work a rotating day/night schedule, and strive for safety and customer satisfaction while meeting DOT medical card requirements paid by Love's.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds; work in close quarters and varying temperatures
• Commit to safety and customer satisfaction, following company safety policies

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies
