Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on light mechanical systems. You will interact with customers and drivers, ensuring safe, reliable service and maintaining high cleanliness and professionalism.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, roadside assistance, and adhering to safety policies. The role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varying temperatures, and a rotating day/night

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on vehicles.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.

• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
• Work a rotating schedule day and night as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love's)
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love's)
