- Hourly Pay: $33.75 per hour
- Quarterly Bonus: Ryder pays up to $500 quarterly
- Sign-On Bonus: $1,750 at 30 days and $1,750 at 90 days
- Toolbox/Tool Allowance
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off
- Hours: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am (Third Shift)

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or technical certification preferred
- Basic tools required
- Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including:
- Routine maintenance (oil changes, brake, tire work)
- Basic diagnostics and repairs (AC, electrical systems)
- Three or more years of relevant experience preferred
- Valid CDL Class A preferred
- Other certifications as required by location
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with heavy and medium-duty equipment repairs and diagnostics
- Computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
Position Requirements
- Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months
- Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background, and motor vehicle checks
Responsibilities
- Vehicle maintenance and repair including:
- Standard and preventive maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical and electronic issues
- Completing inspections and repairs
- Replacing defective components
- Working independently
- Facility maintenance duties
- Interacting with customers/drivers to determine issues
- Using shop management systems and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with safety and DOT regulations
- Mentoring junior technicians
- Accessing and utilizing maintenance documents
- Supporting operations as needed
- Completing OEM diagnostic courses and training within specified timelines
