Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Diesel Technician to perform routine diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance at our Midlands-area service sites. You will interact with drivers and customers, ensuring high standards of safety and service while keeping equipment reliable for a busy travel network.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds, work in close quarters, and handle varying temperatures.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction according to company policies.
• Work a rotating schedule day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
