Job summary

Pho Prime, LLC in Byron Township, MI is seeking a Diesel Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks. You will work with a team to complete maintenance and emergency services safely and to customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of diesel repair experience in a heavy-truck setting; strong knowledge of systems; and basic computer skills including MS Office. Competitive wages, full-time position, benefits included.

• Minimum of 3+ years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment.
• Strong working knowledge of multiple systems (e.g., A/C, brake, emission, air), diagnostics, and troubleshooting diesel engines.
• Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/Heavy Duty Trucks as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork on work orders and for state/emission inspections in a timely manner.
• Diagnose failures of vehicles by disassembly, repair, and reassembly of parts.
• Adhere to all Company and industry safety standards.
• Inspect vital parts to ensure proper operating conditions.
• Create a job repair plan based on diagnosis.

Diesel Technician Opportunity Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Technician. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for accurately troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing both routine maintenance and emergency services while making repair recommendations to customers. This position will work closely with other technicians to ensure all work scheduled is performed safely and to the customer's satisfaction.

Job Duties:

• Perform quality repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/Heavy Duty Trucks as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork (e.g., repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections) in a timely manner.
• Diagnose failure of vehicles by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.
• Dedication and adherence to all Company and industry safety standards.
• Inspecting vital parts to ensure they are in proper operating conditions.
• Create a job repair plan based on diagnosis.

Work Experience & Qualifications:
