Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Westminster is seeking an automotive technician to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on customer vehicles. The role requires attention to detail, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work with Service Consultants to determine needed repairs.

Applicants should have completed or be enrolled in technician training, hold a valid driver’s license, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs with available tools.
• Carry out safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, and minor repairs as directed.
• Coordinate with Service Consultants to identify vehicle needs and appropriate repairs.
• Work efficiently to service vehicles using lean production methods.
• Maintain a neat, clean work area and uphold a high professional standard.
• Assist in maintaining shop equipment and tools after use.

COMPENSATION: $61,000-$120,000

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Works to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs utilizing all tools available in order to do so.
• Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed.
• Works with Service Consultants to communicate vehicle needs and proper vehicle repairs.
• Perform at a high efficiency to complete client’s vehicles and operates by utilizing lean production methods in order to do so.
• Keeps work areas neat, clean and free of all clutter; operating in a high professional environment.
• Helps maintain shop equipment and tools; returning them once complete.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, ETC.

• Must be Customer oriented
• Familiar with auto industry and Mercedes-Benz product a plus, not required
• Experience with Sprinter brand strongly preferred
• Enrolled in or completed Technician Training
• Detail oriented and excels in a fast-paced, results driven team environment
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Professional appearance and work ethic
