Job summary

Bobcat of North Texas - McKinney is looking to add a Diesel Mechanic. This role provides quality repair services on Bobcat equipment, including basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on customer or dealer-owned construction equipment. The technician identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel and electrical systems and delivers effective solutions.

Work hours are Monday – Friday, dayshift. Pay is $30+ per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 year technical school graduate preferred.
• 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
• Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.
• Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality repair services on construction equipment to meet customer needs.
• Perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on equipment.
• Identify problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel and electrical systems and implement solutions.
• Participate in service training to develop skills.
• Document all repairs and testing for customers and warranty work.
• Other duties as assigned by service supervisor or management.

Bobcat of North Texas - McKinney is looking to add a Diesel Mechanic. This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. The technician will also be responsible for identifying problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems and executing effective solutions.

Monday - Friday dayshift

$30+/Hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide quality repair services on construction equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner

Physical Requirements

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.

Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds

Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl

Exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
