Job summary

Elkhart Community Schools is seeking a Diesel Service Technology instructor to lead district training programs and hands-on labs at our district workshop.

Candidates must have 5+ years of directly related work experience or be eligible for the Indiana Department of Education Workplace Specialist License in Diesel Service Technology; preferred: an associate degree or higher and 2+ years of related experience, or eligibility for the license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years directly related work experience over the last 10 years; or ability to obtain a Workplace Specialist License in Diesel Service Technology.
• Preferred: Associate degree or higher in diesel service technology or related field; and 2+ years directly related work experience; or ability to obtain the Workplace Specialist License.

Qualifications:

Required: Have minimum of 5 years directly related work experience over the last 10 years; or holds the ability to obtain a Workplace Specialist License granted by the Indiana Department of Education in Diesel Service Technology. Preferred: Possesses an earned associates in diesel service technology or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution or industry recognized credential; and has a minimum of 2 years directly related work experience; or holds the ability to obtain a Workplace Specialist License granted by the Indiana Department of Education in Diesel Service Technology.
