Dondlinger Construction Company is seeking a Diesel Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain heavy construction equipment to ensure safe operation. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and minimizing downtime on job sites.

The ideal candidate has proven diesel/heavy equipment mechanic experience, strong knowledge of computer testing technologies, and the ability to work flexible hours. A clean driver’s license and GED are required. EEO employer.

Formación

• Proven work experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Must have strong working knowledge of computer testing technologies.
• Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Ability to lift heavy machinery.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
• Ability to work after-hours if required.
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work with several levels of the organization.
• Clean, valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass pre-employment testing, including drug screen.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment for proper performance.
• Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment.
• Repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems on a variety of heavy equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and conduct routine services on heavy equipment.
• Clean and service machine attachments like winches, blades, and side booms.
• Consult and collaborate with other mechanics.
• Report damaged or faulty equipment to management.

Job Title: Diesel Service Technician

Job Summary: The Diesel Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy construction equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. This role performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues, and works closely with field leadership to minimize downtime and keep equipment jobsite ready.
