Rush Truck Centers in Pico Rivera, CA is seeking a Diesel Service Technician to provide technical service to vehicles and equipment. You will perform general and detailed repairs on trucks and engines, read job orders, and plan procedures while maintaining safety standards.

The role emphasizes customer relations, attending training, and staying current with factory bulletins. A high school diploma or GED and 2 years’ dealership experience for Class 7 & 8 trucks are required, along with a valid

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and make adjustments as needed.
• Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
