Job description

We have an excellent career opportunity at our store location in Kansas City, MO! We are currently accepting applications for a full-time leadership role in our Diesel Service & Repair Shop.

The Diesel Service Shop Manager will be responsible to direct, coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Service & Repair Shop. This management-level position is responsible for leading a growing full time team within an 18-bay shop. The team includes Service Technicians, Fabricators, and Service Advisors. In addition to managing day-to-day shop activities, this position also works closely with our General Manager on business growth opportunities for the Service Department in the KC metro region.

Prior heavy duty truck maintenance/repair experience is preferred. A minimum of two to three years prior experience in a leadership role (Shop Foreman or Lead Tech) is also preferred. Qualified applicants should have some prior experience or the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of business operations in a service/repair environment.

Hours: Day shift hours, Monday through Friday. Hours are generally 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. No evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call hours required!

Compensation: This position pays a very competitive base salary + semiannual bonus. Total compensation will be dependent upon previous experience level and qualifications for the role.
