Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC Kenworth) is seeking a Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic in Memphis to perform light maintenance under close supervision. This is the first stage of training toward Service Technician status.

You will perform preventive maintenance, assist technicians in heavy-duty truck repair, attend training sessions, keep a neat workspace, and handle tools safely as part of a team focused on safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• Performs maintenance type work (i.e. preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, light electrical repairs, etc.) under supervision.
• Assists Service Technician in heavy-duty truck repair.
• Attends training sessions to gain knowledge and experience.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area and properly handles company tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
