Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is seeking a Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic to perform light maintenance under close supervision and train toward Service Technician status. The role supports heavy-duty truck repair with supervision, and includes attendance at training sessions to build knowledge and experience.

The position is safety-sensitive, located at MHC Kenworth-Olathe, with a path to full technician responsibilities as experience grows.

Qualifications

• Performs maintenance type work (e.g. preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, light electrical repairs, etc.) under supervision.
• Assists Service Technician in heavy-duty truck repair.
• Attends training sessions to gain knowledge and experience.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area and properly handles company tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
