Job Overview & Essential Functions

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. We are seeking a Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic to perform light maintenance work under close supervision. This role is the first stage of training for Service Technician status.

• Performs maintenance work such as preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, and light electrical repairs under supervision.
• Assists Service Technicians in heavy-duty truck repair.
• Attends training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and handles tools properly.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Safety-Sensitive Position: This role is designated as safety-sensitive. Performing duties while under the influence of illegal substances poses safety risks, especially when operating or maintaining heavy equipment or handling hazardous materials.

Qualifications
