Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. We are expanding and have an opening for a Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic who will perform light maintenance under close supervision and begin training for Service Technician status.

The role includes preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, light electrical repairs, and assisting experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Performs maintenance type work under supervision.
• Assists Service Technician in heavy-duty truck repair.
• Attends training sessions to gain knowledge and experience.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area and properly handles company tools.
• On-the-Job Training available.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance type work (preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, light electrical repairs, etc.) under supervision.
