Job summary

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions seeks a Diesel School Bus Mechanic in Milwaukee, WI. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 1st shift from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm with pay ranging from $30 to $36 per hour.

The position requires servicing and repairing diesel and gasoline buses and performing preventive maintenance to DOT standards. Applicants should have 4+ years of bus or medium truck experience, own tools, and knowledge of Cummins Insite, Wabco, and Allison systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in bus or medium truck maintenance.
• Experience with diesel engines and brakes.
• Familiar with diagnostic tools and preventive maintenance.
• Must have own set of tools and reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair gasoline and diesel powered buses across maintenance levels.
• Diagnose defects and perform preventive maintenance.
• Overhaul engines and transmissions as needed.
• Document time and materials used, meet DOT requirements.
