Job summary

Mustang Cat is hiring Diesel & Natural Gas Industrial Power Technicians for both shop and field roles. You will service diesel and natural gas engine systems, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and reconditioning to power critical infrastructure across Texas.

Responsibilities include disassembly/reassembly, diagnostics, and component testing, with opportunities to work in both shop and field environments. A strong background in engine systems and troubleshooting is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Must own proper tools for repairs.
• Previous mechanic or military experience on engine systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine disassembly, reassembly, and precision reconditioning.
• Conduct diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and technical analysis.
• Remove and install industrial engines and generator sets.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct failure analysis and testing to ensure peak performance.
• Work independently or as part of a team in shop or field environments.
