Job summary

Maverick Transportation, LLC. in Portage, IN is seeking multiple Diesel Mechanics to maintain, diagnose and repair our commercial vehicles and related equipment across several shifts.

Starting pay is $25+ per hour, with tool and technology stipends, medical/dental coverage, paid vacation, a 401k match, and ongoing training programs to advance your skills. Experience in diesel tech or related fields is preferred and will be considered for higher starting levels.

Qualifications

• Diesel mechanic or related experience
• High school or GED plus specialized schooling
• 1 to 6 months related management experience

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment within specified Service Repair Times (SRT)
• Follow established maintenance procedures and guidelines
• Safety procedures are followed at all times
