Job summary

Airgas in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel tractors and related systems, ensuring DOT standards and safe equipment operation to support a busy logistics operation. Compensation is $32.00 per hour with a quarterly incentive bonus and a $2,000 driver referral bonus. Schedule Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of highway equipment maintenance experience.
• A valid Driver's License (regular).
• Experience with basic hand, power tools and equipment.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and written; ability to read/understand English.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical school classes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul diesel tractors and related systems to meet DOT standards and safety protocols.
• Implement solutions to ensure smooth equipment flow and maintain maintenance reports.
• Communicate technical needs clearly while fostering a Safety First environment.
