• Diesel Tech Trainee positions pay weekly
• Hourly pay: $18.00/hour
• Certification bonus of $100 per new ASE certification, up to $700
• Quarterly bonus: Up to $500 every quarter
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off
• Hours: Second shift, Monday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Tuesday–Friday 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Up to 1 year of mechanical experience with diesel engines preferred
• Must be 18 or older
• Proficient in English (written and verbal)
• Customer service skills
• Technical aptitude; willingness to learn equipment and machinery
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Professional representation of Ryder
• Time management and good attendance
• Strong personal accountability and results-oriented
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Beginner knowledge of machines, tools, and shop management systems (preferred)
• Valid CDL Class A (preferred)

Regulated Tech Requirements:

• Must obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background check, and motor vehicle check
