Position Details

• Hourly Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, weekends off
• Hours: First shift, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Up to 1 year mechanical experience preferred
• Must be 18 or older
• Proficient in English (written and verbal)
• Customer service skills
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn equipment maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot, work independently and in teams, and represent Ryder professionally
• Good time management and attendance record
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of machines/tools and shop systems preferred
• Valid CDL Class A preferred; must obtain within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Move and wash heavy-duty vehicles, fuel and maintain vehicles, record fuel activity
• Perform multi-point inspections, maintain fuel island, and perform minor maintenance
• Complete Technician Training Program including various technical modules
• Perform additional duties as assigned
