Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Lenexa, KS, offering weekly pay, health benefits, and a path for career growth. You will diagnose and repair heavy-duty vehicles, perform preventative maintenance, and work second shift 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm with weekends off.

This role requires a high school diploma or technical cert, some tooling, and CDL-A preferred; you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, tuition support, and opportunities to advance within Ryder's logistics network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Two years or more of related training/experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Identifies root causes and performs necessary repairs.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
• Utilizes shop management and documentation systems.
• Adheres to safety, DOT, and company policies.
