Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Master Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder in Hermon, Maine.

• Hourly Pay: $36.50 per hour
• Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE Certification, up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 every quarter
• Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 at 30 days and $2,500 at 90 days
• Schedule: 4-day workweek, Wednesday - Saturday
• Hours: Wednesday and Thursday 12:30 pm - 11:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm; Saturday 1st or 2nd Shift

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive engines, including preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
• Four or more years of relevant experience preferred
• Valid CDL Class A preferred
• Other certifications as required

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to perform all T3 tasks
• Advanced analytical and repair skills
• Effective communication
• Basic computer skills
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability for shift work, weekends, on-call
• Preferred ASE certifications
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment
• Minimum tools required
• Road test vehicles as needed
• Ability to coach/mentor others

• Note: Must be able to drive Ryder vehicles, obtain CDL within 6 months, pass drug test, DOT physical, road test, background check.
