Position Details:

• $22.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience
• Sunday - Thursday, 5:00pm - 2:00am

Position Purpose:

We prioritize safety. The Diesel Technician - Class B maintains our fleet diesel equipment, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units)
• Ensure equipment licensing and registration are current
• Document work via the online Enterprise Asset Management system
• Install and repair onboard computers
• Inspect brake systems, steering, wheel bearings, and replace parts as needed
• Conduct routine maintenance using hand and power tools
• Train or guide other mechanics
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including preventive maintenance, tire & wheel, brakes, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and refrigeration.
