• Experience with PMs, tire & wheel, brakes, diagnostics.
• Ability to train and guide other mechanics.

Position Details:

• 4:00pm - 2:00am Monday - Saturday
• $29.00 per hour, plus $1.00 shift differential
• Location: 5401 East 1st Street in Fort Worth, TX

Position Purpose:

We prioritize safety! The Diesel Technician - Class B repairs, maintains, and overhauls fleet diesel equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, etc.)
• Ensure equipment has required licensing and registration
• Document work orders accurately in the online system
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers
• Inspect brake systems, steering, wheel bearings, and other critical parts
• Perform routine maintenance using hand and power tools
• Train and guide other mechanics
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, with 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PMs, tire & wheel, brakes, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and refrigeration.
