Hunter Truck is hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician in Wheeling, WV, for all skill levels—from entry to Master level. Location is Wheeling, WV, with day to evening shifts and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for expert/master roles.

You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel vehicles, work with the parts team, and uphold safety standards. Job duties include repairs per repair orders, documenting work, and maintaining tools and work areas.

Qualificações

• Entry-level to 3 years experience, or 5+ years for advanced level roles.
• Valid Driver’s License required; insurability standards apply.
• One-year certificate from a college or vocational/technical school preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
• Perform minor to advanced repairs as outlined on the repair order.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and complete repairs as directed by a supervisor.
• Assist other technicians on major repairs.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Save and tag warranty or customer-requested parts.
• Examine vehicles for additional safety or service needs.
• Document all work performed and warranty information.
• Road test vehicles as required or refer to test technician.
• Keep work area and vehicles clean and organized.
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Stay current on manufacturer technical bulletins.
• Follow all safety policies and regulations.
