Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Senior Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder in Sharonville, Ohio.

• Hourly Pay: $38.45 per hour
• Certification Bonus of $100 for each new ASE Certification obtained, up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: Ryder pays up to $500 every quarter
• Schedule: Sunday through Thursday
• Hours: Second Shift 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including:
• Preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake, tire work)
• Diagnostics and repairs (AC, electrical systems)
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience preferred
• Valid CDL Class A preferred
• Other certifications as required by location

Additional Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with heavy and medium-duty equipment repairs
• Computer skills (PC, Windows)

Driving Requirements

• Must obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background check, and motor vehicle check

• Customer interaction to determine issues

• Support duties such as service island support
• Complete OEM diagnostic courses as required
