Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician to maintain and repair our tractor-trailers and refrigerated delivery fleet serving Food & Beverage operations nationwide. You will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and emergency repairs to ensure safe, on-time deliveries to our customers.

You’ll work with modern diagnostic tools, maintain accurate repair records, and collaborate closely with drivers and operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics on diesel tractor-trailers and refrigerated delivery fleet.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Complete DOT inspections and ensure compliance across fleet.
• Perform emergency repairs to minimize service interruptions.
• Maintain accurate repair records and service history.
• Collaborate closely with drivers and operations to coordinate maintenance.
