Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician to service our tractor-trailers and refrigerated delivery fleet in support of nationwide Food & Beverage operations.

In this on-site automotive role, you will diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance, complete DOT inspections, and handle emergency repairs to keep deliveries on time. You’ll use modern diagnostic tools, keep accurate records, and collaborate closely with drivers and operations.

Qualifications

• Diesel engine diagnosis is required.
• Experience with preventive maintenance is expected.
• DOT inspections knowledge is beneficial.
• Ability to perform emergency repairs.
• Accurate record keeping of repairs and maintenance.
