Job summary

WM in Naples, FL is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to service trucks and equipment that support millions of customers across the USA. The role offers a 3:00 pm–1:00 am schedule, Monday–Friday, with stable hours and a shop-based work environment.

You will diagnose and repair a range of systems, participate in safety-first practices, and use modern tools to maintain diesel and sometimes CNG fleet equipment. Eligibility requires 2 years of experience and a valid US driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements with or without accommodations.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Operate within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain a safe work environment per OSHA standards and document repairs and parts usage.
• Assist senior Mechanics on project work.
• Review or assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
