Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a skilled and motivated full-time Diesel Mechanic with preferred snowplow experience. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing trucks, diesel equipment, and snow removal machinery, requiring strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving to keep equipment in top condition for reliable operations.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanics preferred; proven experience repairing heavy trucks (diesel/gas);

• Proven experience repairing heavy trucks (diesel and gas).
• Welding experience required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline-powered trucks and snow removal equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime during snow events.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic and electrical systems, including plows, salt spreaders, and related attachments.
• Conduct emergency field service repairs as needed during snow operations.
• Assist with fabrication, welding, and modifications to equipment when required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state safety requirements.
• Keep tools, equipment, and shop areas clean and safe.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support snow operations.
