AMAZING GRACE TRANSPORTATION LLC in New York is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel vehicles and manage shop operations. The role requires deep knowledge of diesel systems and the ability to prepare cost estimates while maintaining a welcoming shop environment.

The ideal candidate will communicate clearly with customers, explain issues effectively, and demonstrate strong shop management skills to support efficient service delivery.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Diesel technology training required.
• ASE/SAE certifications preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair diesel vehicles coming into the shop.
• Carry out routine diesel vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
• Repair or replace faulty components of engines.
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
• Create repair estimates and timelines and convey information to customers clearly.
• Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Show strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with diesel engine systems.
