Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group is seeking skilled Service Technicians at our Superior, WI location to diagnose and repair diesel engines and driveline systems using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.

We value dependable attendance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 75 pounds. Our teams emphasize training and growth within a collaborative, family-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Work with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to determine the root cause of system failures.
• Determine services required to repair and perform failure analysis.
• Complete repairs and rebuilds/overhauls on a variety of diesel engines.
• Perform diagnostic and repairs on driveline and chassis components including clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, suspension and brakes, transmissions, and other necessary repairs.
• Apply OEM documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs.

Service Technician Essential & Primary Job Duties

• Work with state-of-the-art, industry leading diagnostic equipment to determine the root cause of system failures.
• Determine services required to repair and perform failure analysis.
• Complete repairs and rebuilds/overhauls on a variety of diesel engines.
• Perform diagnostic and repairs on driveline and chassis components including clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, suspension and brakes, transmissions, and other necessary repairs.
• Apply OEM documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying required parts and tools.
