Job Details:

Pay Range: $19.90 – $28.70

Description:

This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on diesel engine trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks:

This position will perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers to include oil changes, greasing, repairing or replacing semi tires, brake repair or replacement on semi-trucks and trailers. Trailer rebuilds, fab frames, trailer wiring and aluminum trailer body work. This position requires a current Arkansas Driver’s License and must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment. Must have welding skills and pass the Tyson Welding requirements. Must be willing to travel to other locations. Must have basic mechanical or maintenance skills. Must supply your own tools for minimum maintenance. Must have the ability to lift 60 pounds, stairs and ladders up to 30 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors. Must be able to use basic electrical, pneumatic and hand tools. Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations. Must have the ability to document information. Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements:

Applicants must be 18 years of age. Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times will not be considered. Minimum 6 month waiting period from previous Tyson employment. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening which is part of the post-offer health assessment. Applications are only active for the current month in which you applied. Applicant will need to reapply next month and have an active application to be considered for employment.

Must have Mechanical skills knowledge, or work history listed on application or resume.

401(k) & Stock Purchase Plans
