As a Diesel Mechanic, you will inspect, diagnose, and repair engines, mechanical and electrical systems, and ensure quality repairs while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. We provide paid training, mentorship, shift options, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle inspections, troubleshooting and testing to determine required or recommended repairs.
• Accurately diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs including engine, mechanical and electrical systems as required.
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and ensures quality repairs the first time by test drives and adjustments.
• Communicates with service advisor and/or dispatcher about additional work needed.
