Job summary

PRIME is seeking a skilled vehicle and equipment mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on construction vehicles and equipment. You will rely on diagnostic tools to identify issues and replace parts, ensuring safety and adherence to manufacturer specs.

The role requires CDL Class A preference, welding experience, and strong problem-solving skills. Work is onsite in a warehouse setting with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or related experience
• Proven experience as a vehicle and equipment mechanic
• CDL, preferably Class A
• Welding experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on construction vehicles and equipment
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Replace or repair defective parts following manufacturer specs and safety standards
• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure safety and performance
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and parts used
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to resolve issues promptly
• Adhere to Safety Program and safe work practices
• Maintain a physical presence onsite and support project teams as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
