Suncore is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic in Caldwell, Idaho to keep our heavy equipment fleet running safely and efficiently. The role involves troubleshooting, hands-on repairs, and proactive maintenance to ensure uptime.

You will diagnose diesel, hydraulic, and electrical issues, read manuals and diagrams, and work as part of a team focused on quality workmanship and continuous learning.

Diesel Mechanic - Caldwell

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid inspections.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks.

• Inspect equipment to identify worn or damaged components and determine necessary repairs.

• Troubleshoot engine fault codes using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Help maintain a safe, reliable, and efficient fleet to keep operations running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably working with heavy construction equipment.

• Diesel mechanic certification or equivalent hands‑on experience preferred.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Dependable team player who takes pride in quality workmanship and continuous learning.
