Job Description: Missouri Organic Recycling is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in diesel mechanics, including experience with:

  • Performing routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and conducting repairs.
  • Inspecting vehicle systems (e.g., brakes, engines, transmissions) to ensure functionality.
  • Using diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint vehicle issues accurately.
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements:

  • Able to work Monday-Friday (7:00am 3:30pm)
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
  • Proficiency with diesel engines and their components.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
