LAUKOA in Hawaii is seeking a General Maintenance Technician/Diesel Mechanic to perform routine, preventive, and specialized maintenance on vehicles, facilities, and equipment. The role may require working up to 10 consecutive days per month to meet project obligations.

Responsibilities include servicing gasoline and diesel engines, light trucks, and heavy equipment; operating RO desalination and solar power systems; maintaining fuel storage and water vessels; and ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Experience repairing gasoline and diesel engines, powertrains, suspension, electrical, and hydraulics.
• Ability to work independently and professionally.
• Valid driver's license and insurability per employer/insurer.
• Must pass pre-employment physical.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Operate and maintain RO desalination system and pumps.
• Maintain solar power generation system and backup generators.
• Maintain fuel storage and distribution systems.
• Perform environmental, safety tasks per regulations.
• Assemble and install equipment for facility renovation or construction.
