Qualifications

• Four years’ experience in diesel heavy equipment or light duty vehicles for Mechanic/Machinist III.
• Three years’ experience for Mechanic/Machinist II.
• Two years’ experience for Mechanic/Machinist I and valid licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance of gasoline and diesel machinery.
• Fabricate specialized parts and troubleshoot equipment.

Skills

Experience in diesel heavy equipment

Experience with light duty vehicles

Fabrication and welding

Valid Montana Commercial Operators License

Forklift certification

Education

Formal education in gas and diesel vehicle repair
