Job description

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic Lead to assemble, maintain, and repair machinery and vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and reliability of machines, engines, and mechanical systems. An excellent mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They should be able to work with various machines and tools while following all safety precautions.

Shift: 7AM-4PM

Responsibilities:

• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
• Inspect machines, engines, transmissions, etc., and run diagnostic tests to identify issues.
• Keep logs of work or use maintenance systems to report problems.
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them promptly.
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Clean and lubricate machinery components.
• Replenish fluids and replace components of engines and machinery.
• Advise on proper maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned (e.g., hydraulic system repairs, vehicle painting).
• Perform roadside repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Heavy equipment experience is preferred.

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.
• Proficient in using hand tools, shop tools, and precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers).
• Ability to follow established procedures, read manuals, and wiring schematics.
• Must provide basic hand tools.
• Strong commitment to health and safety guidelines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent physical strength and stamina.
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude.
• High school diploma preferred; vocational certification or apprenticeship completion is a plus.
• Valid ASE certifications are preferred.
