Job summary

Black Rock Truck Group in Yonkers, NY is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy-duty trucks, ensuring high-quality repairs and maximum uptime.

You will perform advanced diagnostics, identify mechanical and electrical issues (including CAN wiring), repair engines and transmissions, and use diagnostic tools to minimize downtime while meeting OEM standards. Bring your own hand tools to work on a day shift schedule with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of verifiable diesel mechanic experience.
• Medium and heavy-duty truck repair experience required.
• Knowledge of Freightliner, Detroit, and Cummins systems.
• Must provide a standard set of hand tools for maintenance/repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy-duty trucks to ensure uptime and quality repairs.
• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.

What You'll Be Doing

As a diesel mechanic with Black Rock Truck Group, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy-duty trucks while ensuring quality repairs and maximum uptime.

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities Include:

• Performing advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs
