Job summary

Mechanics Hub in Aubrey, Texas, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic II with 2+ years of medium to heavy truck repair experience. You will diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems, perform test drives, and ensure all inspections are completed before vehicle release.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medium/heavy truck repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency in electrical systems, diesel equipment, and AC repair.
• Valid state driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• CDL training after hire available.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including steering, electrical, cooling, braking, and drivetrain.
• Conduct test drives to confirm repairs.
• Obtain inspections/approvals for major repairs before releasing vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace per safety standards.
• Identify and report additional maintenance or repairs needed during service.
• Log time, parts, and services for each job.
• Provide on-site repairs during road calls as needed.
• Collaborate with Lead Technician to address unsafe maintenance conditions.
