Duties & ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, and perform minor to major repairs on diesel trucks, tractors, trailers, and related fleet equipment.Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and regular service to keep equipment operating safely and reliably.Diagnose diesel engine, electrical, mechanical, and related truck and trailer issues.Use diagnostic tools, software, and troubleshooting procedures to identify problems and confirm repairs.Complete aluminum welding, fabrication, and truck or trailer repair work as needed.Maintain accurate repair records, support daily fleet maintenance priorities, and follow safe shop practices.
