Job DescriptionJob Description

We are in search of an EXPERIENCED equipment diesel technician/mechanic to join our team. Candidate must be able to work on various makes and models of heavy construction equipment. Employee will be on the road but will work at our yard as well. Job requires valid driver's license, experience with diesel powered heavy construction equipment, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm in workplace. Tools and Training are offered, any years of experience in diesel mechanics. Need field and on-site techs.

We offer the new hire a positive work atmosphere here at our family-owned business. The equipment rental department works together as a team to accomplish day to day tasks. The hire will receive Health, Dental, Eye, 401kmatch, Life Insurance, Short- and Long-term

Responsibilities

· Perform minor and major repairs on construction equipment

· Conduct regular preventative maintenance and periodic maintenance

· Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop

· Perform regular diagnostic tests on equipment with and without proprietary manufacture communication software

· Collaborate with other employees and management to diagnose problems and plan repairs

· Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles

· CDL Driving License (Class A is a plus)

Desired Qualifications/Skills

· 5+ years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic

Knowledge in Heavy Equipment Hydraulics, Electrical, able to Troubleshoot

· Ability to use manufacture software for diagnoses

· Ability to lift up to 45 pounds

· Excellent reading and writing skills

· Basic Computer Skills
